The Boulder Road Runners have begun their next evolution as President Rich Castro and Vice President Carl Mohr stepped down on December 10, 2011. New club officers are Interim President, John Bridges, Vice President, Dan Pierce, Treasurer, Connie Harmon. Board members, Amie & Benji Durden and Ron Harmon. To review the areas we are discussing click on BRR Mission Statement.

Sunday Run: The Boulder Road Runners meet on Sunday mornings at the First National Bank of Colorado (30th & Iris Ave. rear parking area, across the bridge) The run is at 9 AM. The purpose of the group run, which draws over 100 runners on any given Sunday, is to act as a clearinghouse for the local running community and encourage networking within the club and with new runners. The club offers an entry-level membership of $25 per calendar year for an individual. Family memberships are also available. For detailed information please click on membership info for more details.
Many of our club members meet on a regular basis throughout the week. Sundays is the best day to meet and greet many of these individuals. We provide free cinnamon rolls, muffins, bagels and cookies from The Great Harvest Bread Co. and refreshments compliments of PowerBar.  These are provided to encourage runners to stick around after the run and talk about their running needs.

Local Events:The BRR supports many of the local running events in Boulder, including The Bolder Boulder on Memorial Day, CU @ Turley's Turkey Trot (Thanksgiving Day.), Avery’s 4k on the 4th of July, The RUN Boulder Race Series (Uni-Hill 2k, West End 3k and Pearl Street Mile), the BRR summer track series (first & third Thursdays of each summer month), Columbine Mile Marathon, and The Rocky Mt. Shootout XC meet on the CU South Campus/Buffalo Ranch.  We also compete as a team at national events such as the USATF National Club Cross Country Championships in Seattle, WA on December 10, 2011.
